Coalition Purpose:

To create a better tomorrow by developing environments where people thrive.

Coalition Vision:

Nebraska is a place where Elders and those who care for them live the lives they strive for.

Coalition Values:

Relationships are key to a transformed culture.

Recognize that each person can and does make a difference and has purpose.

Nurture the spirit, mind and body.

Risk-taking is a normal and valuable part of life.

Put the person before the task.

Self-determination is a basic right to be valued.

Community is the antidote to institutionalization.

All people deserve to be treated with dignity and respect.

Promote the growth, development and empowerment of all.

Shape and use the potential of the environment in all its aspects:  physical, organizational and psycho-social/spiritual.

Practice individual and organizational self-evaluation.  Be open to change.

Recognize that culture change and transformation are not destinations but a journey, always a work in progress.

Seek and share wisdom.  Create a legacy.
